Watch This Inspiring Video of Our Project in Boston with the Charles River Conservancy
February 9, 2021
We are delighted to share this inspiring video made by the Charles River Conservancy about our recent collaborative project in Boston. The seven hundred-square-foot Floating Ecosystem, also known as a Floating Wetland, was installed in June 2020. The video shows the assembly, planting, and installation. This Floating Ecosystem was designed to allow the bow to be lifted up for ease of towing into position.
One of the goals of this project is to help the local community better understand the ecology of the river and to find ways they can help make it a healthy and vibrant ecosystem. This is a wonderful example of the Living Water Cities vision in action.
Students collect water samples for analysis from beneath the Floating Ecosystem
